Breastfeed for Better Heath (from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
In this podcast, Dr. Cria Perrine discusses a recent CDC study which found that nearly three of four mothers breastfeed, but many women stop breastfeeding too early, and advises new moms to breastfeed for at least the first 12 months of their baby’s life. For mom, it decreases her chances of developing type 2 diabetes, breast cancer, and postpartum depression.
